About the Opportunity

VIP Executive Search is partnering with a manufacturing company in St. Francis, WI to hire a Senior Operations Manager for a newly created, high-impact role. This position is critical to the organization’s next stage of growth, and we are seeking a strong operational leader who can step in quickly, drive alignment across departments, and elevate performance across all shifts.

The Senior Operations Manager will oversee production, logistics, quality, maintenance, and warehousing while leading a multi-shift bilingual workforce. This individual will play a major role in shaping operational structure, improving processes, and building a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic & Operational Leadership

• Develop and execute clear operational plans that support company objectives.

• Lead and coordinate daily manufacturing and logistics activities across all shifts.

• Ensure operational excellence, efficiency, and performance to meet production and profitability goals.

Cross-Department Integration

• Strengthen communication and collaboration between production, quality, maintenance, warehouse, and administrative teams.

• Align priorities and streamline decision-making across the organization.

Operational Performance & Optimization

• Monitor KPIs, production metrics, and process performance.

• Implement continuous improvement, lean methodologies, and standardized processes.

• Ensure quality, accuracy, and consistency in all operational outputs.

Leadership & Talent Development

• Lead, mentor, and develop supervisors and frontline employees in a multi-shift environment.

• Promote a culture of ownership, accountability, and high performance.

• Support the growth and development of bilingual teams.

Quality, Customer Satisfaction & On-Time Delivery

• Enforce strong quality control standards.

• Ensure reliable, on-time production and service delivery.

• Support customer satisfaction through operational consistency and excellence.

Safety, Compliance & Preventive Maintenance

• Uphold OSHA compliance and company safety protocols.

• Drive proactive maintenance programs to protect equipment and minimize downtime.

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.

Experience

• 5–7+ years of manufacturing or contract packaging operations leadership.

• Strong experience leading and motivating multi-shift teams.

• Proven success in improving processes, performance, and efficiency.

• Experience working with bilingual (English/Spanish) teams preferred.

Technical Expertise
